Otter Rock fire station spared damage

At 8:37 PM the Depoe Bay Fire District responded to a report of downed trees and power lines. The location of the incident was the fire station in Otter Rock. Upon arrival DBFD personnel noted there was no power in the Otter Rock area and that power lines were down and hanging low to the ground.

DBFD units will be returning to the station today to continue tree removal. Upon further inspection of the building by the fire chief and assistant fire chief it was noted that the building was damage free. Power has since been restored to the area.
